New MB Graphics and poss mem..advice?

How about a GA-P35-S3 or Abit IP35-E these are under £70
Plus 320mb 8800GTS which are about £180
and 2Gb Corsair XMS6400C5 Ram at about £60

Total about £320inc. then sell the X1950Pro AGP for £85-90 and the mobo and 3400 for £35.

Sorted??? ;)

IMHO - if your gonna run the same level of gfx ie X1950 pro then use the one you have in a ArSock DualVSTA as your suggestion does not give you a worthwhile increase in performance for the cost.

If you want an intel chipset mobo then go for the latest P35 chipset.

Be aware that the Ballistix Ram you suggest has had lot of failures during the past few months.

Hope this helps

The reason I was going to go for that is ideally I would like to move to pci-e as i am agp but need the cheapest step up.
