Hi everyone I'm new to pc gaming and pretty new any kind of pc modification and upgrading, I was after a graphics card to compliment my new computer, I really didn't want to upgrade the psu at this time which is 300w nor am I after a highly spac'd graphics card just something to run Diablo 3 and some other games on medium to high if possible.

if anyone could offer some advice it would be very much appreciated, oh and my budget is around £50 if that is reasonable for a low spec unit ?

Many thanks , forbs

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Please can you remove the competitor link and check the FAQ regards these :)

I have sorry if I have offended, I will read the faq when I get home from work, in the mean time if anyone would be kind enough to help me with my question and maybe point me in the direction of a graphics card from overclockers :)

I would try and find a used 7750 (should be around £50), I think it's about the best you'll get safely without upgrading the PSU.

Yup, a 7750 can run purely off the PCI-E slot. It's a very good upgrade over what I assume are integrated graphics.

A stock 7750 can manage over 40fps in Diablo 3 1080p max settings with AA, so turned down a little it'd do 60fps.

AA: Anti-aliasing. It smooths rough edges :)

Edit: D3 uses a post-processing anti-aliasing technique that doesn't require much computation but just kinda blurs everything. Info on the rough idea (if not the actual implementation, I don't know how D3 does it): FXAA

Edit2: Honestly you probably don't need to care about the details too much - the short answer is it'll play D3 just fine, it'll not be on technically the highest possible settings but you'll not be able to tell much difference.

Thank you for your very informative reply :)

As long a it will run d3 and maybe battlefield on medium that's fine for me until I build a new machine.

Thanks folks
