New memory problems

Received my Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit from OCUK today to replace my G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB. When setting the rated voltage and frequency in the BIOS (1600MHz & 1.65V), it just seems to crash when loading windows 7 (never making it to the desktop and always restarting), but when left on auto for the frequency and voltage it loads to the desktop, does anybody know why?

Currently running:
intel 2500K, Asus P8P67 Pro, Antec TruePower 650W, MSI GTX 560 Ti Hawk Edition and a shoddy Seagate Barracuda 250GB HDD.

Does it support x.m.p? If so try that

Finally worked it out, i didnt change the timing on the new ram so it was running at the old ram speed which it couldnt handle. Now to enjoy my free bag of haribo that came with the ram. thanks OCUK!
