Hi guys I have a Gigabyte P55A-UD5 with this memory in it (Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit) if I want to upgrade to 8gb can i just buy two more of the same and install it in the other two slots ?
Thanks

You should be able to add a second set without issue, but if your overc, lied you need to remove this and add it again after wards.

Thanks for the replys guys . Bought the new memory and installed it and all I get is a blank screen . Tried everything I can think of , reseated memory a number of times , tried new memory in original slots and computer boots up fine ,tried just one stick of new memory and screen still doesnt come on , updated bios to latest version . Anyone have any ideas please . Im running Windows 7 64bit, thanks.

That's annoying, do you get a failed boot with both sticks? Also have you tried doing a CMOS reset - you will lose all your overclock settings so it be worth writing the info down.

Edit: Not sure if you can save profiles on this board.

Yes I have done a cmos reset I also took the cmos battery out , im not over clocked so no issue there. Yes unless I just use 2 sticks I get a failed boot , the motherboard has two white and two blue memory sockets , if I use the white sockets it works , the blues dont .
