Yeah and I can see why some people wouldn't take to the looks.

It's an ungainly homage to a classic, with retro features seemingly picked at random [other than the gullwings, which were clearly the starting point for this 're-imagining' exercise].
If you crossed a 1957 300SL with a 2004 SLR, you'd get this. And frankly, you'd deserve it, you weirdo.
The public will perceive this design as dated quicker than you can say "Jaguar S-Type".

Hmmm...that looks weird to me. I can't decide if I like it or not. My first thought was that it looks a similar shape to a Dodge Viper.
Nice looking car...my uncle would be interested in that i think...will have to email him the details as hes seriously looking at trading in his E55 AMG saloon for the SL65 AMG...he already has the SL55 AMG...hes a bit of a merc lover my uncle...was even considering the SLR but because its only made in left hand drive it wouldnt be suitable for him.
