My Sentinel Advance used to have a rubberised finish. It was half peeled off so I scrubbed the rest off and polished the plastic. It was definitely nicer with the rubber :(
I half fixed it by sanding it :p

Like SS, where the braiding just wears out after a month leaving a normal cable? :p

The braided cable on my Sentinel is still in tip top condition and its probably around 3 years old now. God knows how SS made their braid so bad :rolleyes:
