'Cos they are fashionable![]()
Not to mention that they drive uniquely. Consumers buy cars which are enjoyable to drive and the Mini Cooper is more enjoyable to drive than your average 1.6 hatchback.

Why? Graphite has 120bph. The Cooper S still tops the series with 170 (or 160, I forget)surely a way to annoy Cooper S owners?
Looks damn nice for a Cooper though, especially with the 17""s
163/170/172 and then on up to 210bhp+ for works. All depends what you buy and what registration it is.
It hasn't anoyed me you have a grey Cooper![]()
Dark silver is an exclusive Cooper S colour and a desirable colour choice. It's also a signature element of the Cooper S. It's similar to them bringing out a special edition Mini One with a bonnet scoop and twin exhausts. A lot of housewives buy (sorry, that's get bought by hubby) the Cooper S purely because it has more road presence and it's a more striking vehicle.
Awh, now im jealous!![]()

Funny thing is i was in bavarian bmw the other day and asked about the dinnerplate speedo, the assistant stated that they were like that in the original mini's. Im pretty sure they weren't myself, anyone any idea about that?
