New mobo & Vista

Right,

Time to ditch mobo & get something better. So, just wondering if with Vista I can simply install & it will work/pick it up fine? Or is their a repair feature like XP?

Really No nasty BSODs & 'degrade in performance' like with XP?

Think I might just do a reinstall because current Vista was just installed to see if it (& other software/etc) had 'matured'. So far so good, even ditched XP but was a messy job moving around partitions, boot info, etc. Chance to do-it right I guess

Backup anything important - just in case.

Do that every other day. Lets just say its something I learnt the hard way
