Could this not be a very witty attempt at taking the pee out of local chavs with cars that look like they might be quick, but actually are dog slow?

IE, its meant to look daft but will actually blow most chavs into the weeds?

I reckon it would easily beat most stuff out there. It has rally mud flaps, it must have at least 4WD and 500bhp.

Rear disks indicate a reasonably warm version of the Astra, those wheels won't do much for the acceleration though
