New Monitor Questions

Currently using my 26" Samsung LCD TV screen @ 1376 * 768 res. I also use it for my X360 at 720p.

Now, Im going to be investing in a new Gfx card soon.. 8800 GTX / 2900XT / 8800 GT so want to increase my gaming capabilities in terms of resolution.

I have been scanning the market and have come up with some options:

Hyundai W240D 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Glossy Black
Samsung SM-245B 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black
Dell TrueColour E248WFP 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey

Which is best for pure gaming?

In addition to the PC, i'd also very much like to use my 360 in 1080p. My 360 does not have an HDMI port so will I still be able to achieve the 1080p I desire through VGA?

My choice was : Samsung SM-245B 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black
Reason's : price / lack of customer complaints on it / lots of good feedback on it / decent response time.
I will just be using mine for pc gaming when it arrives.

Waiting for some reviews, but I'm tempted by the new Dell E248WFP, just wish the stand was not silver - looks cheap and rubbish. All my other PC components are black. Fortunately there's no-where near as much silver on the Dell monitor as the 2407WFP-HC.

All of this silver trying to make plasitc look like metal, just comes across as low-grade.
