Hi All

Im thinking about getting a new monitor

Im currently running a Samsung LE32R41B 32" TV as a monitor, i have the PC in the DSub input and im also running a Sky+ box so switch the source to view that.

I am looking at Dell as the replacement manufacturer but am not sure whether it would be best to go foir this years 24" Dell or the 27" Version thats available on OCUK

I basically want it primiarily for my Pc monitor..obviously! and i want to be able to view Sky+

Any ideas which ones better? ...i have a feeling the 24" version might just seem to small?? but is it worth the scrafice? i dont havw the budget to stretch to the Dell 30" version....sadly!
 
I found the 24" @ 1920x1200 irritating for forums with the writing size. If you don't mind your current screens dpi you'll quite possibly love the 27" which is now well priced really.

the major problem i face is the fact that i must be able to run a sky+ box off the monitor aswell

the only way i can see to do this would be to run an S Video cable from the back of the sky box into the monitor and switch the monitor sources, but that also leaves the problem of how i get audio out of the sky box?

Would anyone here rate the 27" Dell over the new model of 24"??
 
i haqve also just noticed that on the Dell Ultrasharp 3008WFP 30" thread that the 30" version has S Video input but on the advert for it on the OCUK website it doesnt mention all the extra connections???
