Hi,
At the moment am using arctic f12 fans on my 360 rad.
In loop I have i7 2600K with 7970 with full block.

It is getting really warm outside, so I thought that maybe it is time to 'upgrade' my fans

am looking for quiet ones that are really efficient...at least more than arctic ones.

here comes extra question...do you guys gave fans controllers connected to every fan at your rad ? need to connect mine and was thinking about connecting every single fan to separate channel.and maybe while in windows have only one running ?

Scythe gt 1850s will be recommended a lot. I'd like to see someone test the new corsair SP fans (quiet and performance) against them though.

I have my fan's hooked up to separate channels simply because my fan controller couldn't seem to manage having 3 on one channel (200mm spectre pros). Not sure if I was exceeding the wattage on the channel or if it was caused by the length of the extensions I am using to hook them up to it!

How thick is that rad though? New fans can only do so much. More rad surface area would help too. Generally people say 120mm for each component plus 120mm extra, which I think is for 60mm thick rads.
 
I have 4 x GT 1450 fans(for the RAD) connected to a single header of the controller(AQ5LT).
Can turn off when not needed but at these temps running around 1000RPM.
 
I'd get the 1850's if you are going to use a controller so you can adjust them down to the speed/noise level you want, the 1450's are only £1 cheaper.

I put each rads fans on a single channel (Lamptron FC5v2) but you need to look at the specs of the fan controller to see the watts/channel limit. The FC5v2 states "20 to 45 watts" per channel in the description but then says "up to 30 watt" in the data table. The 1850's are rated at 0.083A so at 12V that means about 1 watt per fan which means that 3 of them should be easily within most fan controllers limit per channel.

I can slow the 1850's down to about 800rpm when just browsing and they are pretty much inaudible.

OptimaLnrg: The spectre Pro 200's are 0.18A so only about 2W per fan so 6W for three, the controller must be rated quite low if it could not cope.

I have same controller :)
OcUK doesnt seem to have 1850 ?? they only have 1900 (?)
 
1850rpm Gentle Typhoons are still regarded as one of the finest rad fans ever, but you will have to stump up a fair bit for them.
