Looking for advice on a new system, I am looking for a gaming system for Battlefield 3 and maybe other demanding games that might amuse me in the future. The system needs to be power efficient and silent whilst running as my current hums something shocking the moment I boot BF3 and since coming off PS3 noticed my electric bill shoot £20 a month :(, not interested in shiny led fans or look at me case, but would like to try those cases that have the holes to put the wires through the back to keep it tidy.

My current PC in rough what I can find out about it is:

Case: Ankermann A-Dis ELITE 905
PSU: Ankermann ATX-600
GPU: Gainward GTS 450 1024MB
MOBO: Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 995 3.2Ghz
Mem: 2x2GB Elixir DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz
HDD: Seagate 7200.10 250GB

This is what I thought of getting but hope you can modify to perfection for my needs.

I have decided on 256GB SSD as I don't really need a whole lot of space so won't need an HDD, I still have over 100GB on my HDD currently so getting rid of it saves power and the extra noise.
I have noticed most "spec me" threads you all love the AMD 7850/7950, I went on one of your benchmark sites and noticed the nVidia cards seem to come on top on BF3, is this good enough to go nVidia or is there more to it. I currently play on a LG Flatron W2261VP @ 1920x1080 resolution.
I currently have windows 7 on my system but as its oem I believe I cannot put it on a new system unless I salvage the motherboard, if my current motherboard was salvaged (if worth it) I could save my self money on mobo and OS, I tried adding 4x2GB of ram before to this system but couldn't as it had a different dim type or something so I guess that might be a concern, I added windows 8 to my list as most of my stuff is start-up and on quick launch, only time I use the start menu is for defragging etc if thats the only thing people are hating windows 8 over is, otherwise should I stick with 7?
I think I could manage £1000 but I would like to have it less than that as much as possible.
I hope that is enough info to help me, if you need more just ask thanks.

Edit: Had BitFenix Shinobi USB 3.0 windowed gaming case when the non windowed one is on week only offer :)
