New motherboard needed (possible overclocking fx 8320)

thinking about getting ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 AMD 970 (Socket AM3+) DDR3 ATX Motherboard (sorry no link seems to be playing up on me) as im having a lot of problems with my gigabyte 970a-ds3p Mobo. Thinking of overclocking my fx8320 will this board be okay for doing so? or should i go for something else?

build specs:

AMD fx-8 8320 black edition
MSI HD 7870 black knight edition
CORSAIR Builder Series CX 500w Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
8GB RAM

think ill go with the 970a-ud3 as its compatible with the fx-8320 without the need of a bios update first as i dont have access to a older cpu to use on the other boards to make the bios update

EDIT: just read the reviews on overclockers website and one states he had to do a bios update but that was back in 2011 hopefully i wont need to
