Hi,

When I first went to boot my new built PC I couldn't get a display to show on the monitor. I then installed the graphics card and it showed no problem.

I then installed all of the drivers but I noticed in the Device Manager I only had 1 Display Adapter (my graphics card). I couldn't see the onboard graphics anywhere.

I then tried to install the VGA driver from the website and got this error:

Does this mean the motherboard is faulty? Or am I missing something

Ryzen 1400.. I thought the onboard graphics where from the motherboard.

So essentially if my GPU failed I have no backup for testing?

Ah **** wish I looked more into that.. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. If something ever happens to his GPU then I suppose I could bring my HD7870 round for him to test.

I take it AMD will not release support for these CPUs, it will only be in newer models they are integrated compatible?

Thanks for help.

Oh right I thought the actual hardware part came from the motherboard (because of it having the connections on the IO Port).

So anytime onboard graphics are available they always come from the processor, not the motherboard? The motherboard just needs to have the features to support the cpu?
