New mouse died after one use?

I had a madcatz rat 1 and it died after 2 months use so I got replacement in store and it has died after 1 use.

Is the the pc breaking them? or is it bad product from madcatz?

Saitek used to do pretty reasonable stuff.
Ever since they were taken over by MadCatz, build quality seems to have gone right down even on newly built versions of existing products like the X52.

Might just be bad luck, but personally I'd never buy from MadCatz.

I had a RAT 5 and it died after 5 months and the replacement died after two months. I really liked the RAT 5 but will not try any more as they don’t seem to last. I could have been unlucky but?

I have rat 5 and it has worked 4 years no problems, you have been unlucky.

Im still using my 2nd hand rat 3 and I must admit ive not had any problems after 2 years with me. I have seen my self looking at new ones but havent made any move yet.
