It is an update yes but it ain't as good in my humble opinion :)

I know that the first g400 had bad sensor but the new ones with PID above LZ13333 are working fine.

But still confused g400 vs DA i dont think is much of a point buying it as its similiar to IE 3.0 in ergonomics or am i wrong ?
I would like to have a mouse shaped like a kinzu or Zowie AM

The Kinzu is ok, though the overall build quality isnt as good as the Zowie.

Well I like the MX 518 more personally but I would still go for the G400 or G500 over the DA. It's a good mouse don't get me wrong but Razer's build quality is not as good as Logitechs in my opinion and I think a Logitech would be better in the long run if your planning to keep your mouse for a few years, plus they offer better support. Between the G400 and G500 I would get the 400 as it isn't laser which you specified above you didn't like, and the higher DPI capability of the 500 isn't going to benefit you given the setting you play on.

On a side note the Gigabyte M6900 is a good budget choice ( sorry for all the options I have bought or used quite a few different gaming mice in my time :)

Gigabyte M8000 this gigabyte looks good and comfortable.
But the thing about G500 im scared that the laser might not work proprley on 400dpi because Im very low sens player espacilly in CS.
Although thanks for yours overviews and opinions i will have a think about what you said.
