Well done, you can adjust the acceleration using software.
He meant the hardware "built in" acceleration which CAN NOT be adjusted and most mice have some degree of built in acceleration.
He also said and I quote :

This is nonsense. This mouse is ideal for FPS games.
I don't care what you or he says about 'acceleration', be it 'built in' or not. The FACT is the mouse works great for FPS games and so it's a vapid and redundant moot argument. Well done you for making me correct you.
