Tbf the 502 is very nice it’s just the wheel that’s bugging me but I’ll give it a few days see how I get on.


On a side not a got a new headset at the same time and type c dongle and a stupid shape and blocks two usb ports.. well done steelseries

are there any other benefits other than the usb c?

slightly better sensor(it's already great in v1) better polling(2000 vs 1000) and better switches. Will you notice those? No

Got the 502 yesterday. it a really big mouse compared to with i have but feel good and solid.

Only problems im having is G-Hub wont open on boot and load my profile..
Why dose the scroll wheel have so much waight, im used to flicking my old one, when i do that not it keep scrolling for a few more steps.

Why is there a button to unlock the scroll wheel, i just don't get it

It let's you switch
From slow ratcheted scrolling
To fast freewheel scrolling
Only ever find it useful in certain games personally
For really fast zoom in and out

I guess if have a very long webpage
Or document
It may be useful for that too

I sold my 502 after wanting and trying to like it for nearly a year. Truth is that for FPS games it's a brick. I got the model d wireless and its much better (stable, comfortable, glide) in my opinion. Its a bit dated now in terms of tech.

The Steelseries Aerox 3 is really solid and good value imo
