Hi,

I find myself in the market for a new mouse. I have been using an intelimouse which I found a little large and more recently I have had a Habu, which died. So I am wanting a replacement. I have been toying with the Razer mice or Logitech, does anyone have these mice and which do you find personally a good mouse for gaming and web browsing etc?

Cheers

H

The only way to be sure is to try the mouse yourself, for what it is worth I've got a Logitech G7 and an Intellimouse V3.0 (the original) and find both to be equally comfortable but I like the ability to change the sensitivity on the fly for the G7. It also depends on your budget and whether you want wired or wireless. :)

Got me new Razer Diamondback and love it! It's a little smaller than Microsoft's Habu Mouse and I find I have to re0adjust my positioning to reach the wheel, but it's really nice and smooth and better constructed than the Habu I had. I dont really see any difference using Optical instead of Laser.

Sorry for the necro bump! I was just browsing my old threads and found this. I am still using the same mouse and I still love it. The LED has lost some of its brightness but it has been on pretty every day, all day ever since. After my 19" Asus monitor, this is my longest serving hardware. What's you longest serving piece of kit?

I would go with logitech, ive had razer mamba and the Logitech performance and g602, I would say the quality and support on logitech is better.

still using socket 775 motherboard, ddr 2 ram and q6600 cpu. Bought in 2007 iirc.

I just replaced the Diamondback with a Death Adder Chroma. The mouse was still working but the LED had faded and it was looking a little worn. I am now trying to get it to work with Win 10 on my 2nd machine which didn't already have the windows 7 driver already installed. Trying to get it working has been much less than successful :D
