New mouse

how long should a mouse last? i seem to be getting through about 2 a year! i don't use them that much but both the wireless and wired ones i've bought in the past always seem to lose their functioning abilities and end up in the bin

there is something not right there mate ,my 1st mouse i used for about 5 years and it still works (just got no paint left on it )
ive had my deathadder about 2 years now

lol what do u do to them :( ive got wierd mice that 10 years old and still work
 
Mouse Pad for razer death adder

Also what mouse pad should I get with the razer death adder? I would get the boogie bug, but apparently it doesn't work great with that mouse. Currently looking at these two http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-007-RA&groupid=702&catid=32&subcat= and http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-009-RA&groupid=702&catid=32&subcat=, which one is better or are there any others that I should be looking at and I would like it to be quite a large mouse pad as well, would like to try and keep the price around £10. Thanks
 
i've never spent more than a tenner on a moust tbf and don't currently use a mouse mat (i use the arm of the armchair!) maybe i should invest in a decent 1!
