I'm looking for a new mouse thats ambidextrous (bloomin mrs is a lefty & used the PC from time to time). I'm looking at the steel series rival 100 (nice & cheap) and also a zowie fk1, seems to have good reviews but looks a bit bland. Any advice or other options I should consider?

I'm not much of a fps player so dont need anything too extreme.

I have the SteelSeries rubberized (american spelling) Sensei raw and I like it, only thing that is slightly annoying is the LOD is quite high but I soon got used to it.

I have a Roccat Kova here at work, that I accidentally bought myself.
It's quite flat, but surprisingly comfy, has all the usual Roccat gaming gubbins and is Ambi.
I personally find my 3rd finger can trip the side buttons on the right occasionally, but I have a weird kind of Claw grip and overly large hands.
For Palm and most Claw it fits very well, REALLY stands up to the abuse (been using it daily at work since the day ) and even the pritty pritty lights aren't desperately over-the-top... Can probably turn 'em off, but I like such things.

Yeah, worth considering, IMO.

NOTE: I have the older (so hopefully now-cheaper) 2010 version. They apparently updated it in late 2015 to a newer, gayer style with more buttons....

get her a cheapy wireless lefty mouse she can use, just keep it plugged in a powered off under the monitor :D

my missus wouldnt go for it, but yours might :D

The Steelseries Sensei Raw suffers from the scroll wheel jumping upwards randomly.

Zowie mice have an LED indicator on the underside that cannot be turned off and would rapidly become irritating.

lol what? since when do u look at the bottom of you're mouse and u cant even see the LED when its on a pad..

what a weird thing to moan about!
