Just a heads up the new v12 firmware has been updated on my n95..just tried the software updater and its there wasent last night ..sorry if this has been posted

Nokia Software Updater Ver 1.3.84 is still saying Ver 11.0.026 for me, where you finding Ver 12 from?

only 2 things I have read up on..is the assisted GPS and they fixed the w-lan made it more stable less drop outs etc..mine was abit flakey before but seems to be fixed now..phone feels really quick 2

if your phone is branded then maybe your network has not released it yet? depends on the product code I think... mine was a sim free unbranded job

Cool, will have to check if mine updates later tonight when i get home. Last time i checked, last week it said there wasnt any new update. But ill check it tonight, ive got a sim free version myself so shouldnt have any problems if there is one available.

i have updated but i can not restore my backed stuff to the phone everytime i do it screws my phone up and i have to reflash it any1 got any ideas

Hmm, updated and looks ok, except I've found a possible bug? When the phone switches to the 'power saver' screen after however many seconds you set it, it kinda 'flashes' into it, makes it look like the screen is borked or something lol. maybe I'm just being paranoid.

its when am trying to restore my back up of my phone from my pc back to the phone it goes wrong wish i had waited now until vodafone relised the update is there anyway to rebrand your phone back to the network im googling but cant seem to find anything
note gps locks on quicker now

Hi mate..dont use the PC to back up, back up to the memory card in the phone ..works every time, the pc back up is a bit dodgy works for some but not others

Camera now seems to be messed up?

Open the slider, turn sideways then open the lens shutter. Camera comes on, makes a weird noise then screen goes black with a yellow tear across it then goes onto screensaver :confused:
