New Network - Basic advice

I'm looking to set up a home network via my BT Home Hub. I'll have 2 x PC wired to the hub with PS3 wireless.

I want to access video and media on one PC from the PS3 and the other PC.
I've tried to do this before without success via a router.

Does anyone have any basic tips that would help me set his up?

I'm thinking folder/access options, File Sharing permissions, basic Hub settings etc.

If all of the machines are already connected to the Hub then you have nothing more to do there.

You need to concentrate on getting your PCs and PS3 setup correctly, with or without permissions and security etc to suit your needs.

What operating systems are you using on the PCs?

Hi. I'm using XP & Vista 32bit on the two PC's. PC with media is XP.

Last time I did this all three were sharing internet connection fine but could not access/stream files.
