Nice idea. The low spec will make it obsolete long before repairing it will.

Very happy with it. Got used to the camera now, at a festival at the moment and really impressed with the low light shots.

No bugs or issues with it.

Follow up after having the X30 a few months.

Security updates were a little slow at first, but got February's a few days ago, seems to have got up to speed. Still Android 12, but as 13 didn't change much, not too fussed.

There was an intermittent Bluetooth bug that would require a reboot every week or so, but that was fixed in an update a couple of weeks ago.

Outstanding issue is the Night Mode on the camera doesn't close a dialog properly so you have to exit camera and reopen it.

I think the HDR processing could be more consistent....some shots are very good, but occasionally pretty poor.

Got android 14 for my X30 last week. Security updates have been pretty prompt though.

Still a couple of minor but annoying bugs.

Overall, still happy with the purchase. I will probably move to a pixel 8 later in the year if they add satellite connectivity though as that's a game changer for me.
