I've recently installed the latest XP 8800 drivers and every time I try to change something in the CP I get an error report...?

Has anyone found a reg fix for this or something similar?

Well I've installed the latest drivers from the NV for XP 158.XX - I haven't moved from ATI and yes I did a clean install. I've heard some mumblings about the problem - just wanted to be definate.

on 158.19 myself at the moment been ok only minor issue's. perhap rolling back to previous and see if you still get error report?

zia

Good god 97.94's were crap , as is all their 3x sets of officials for XP, mind you i suppose they would only recommend those being their last official set, but the best drivers are the beta's. :p

I get the same with the 158.19 and 158.22, fresh install or upgrading drivers.

Fix I have is to change the default settings before playing a game as that does not crash the CP

Either way I'm fed up with 1xxx.xx series now, no display scalinig, crap control panel, crap support.

Crap.

Try the 100.87 driver it supports scaling and is fast-ish. The only problem is that it doesn't support SLI - you have to go back to 96.89 to support SLI and scaling.
