Here is latest driver 310.70, just came up on my update, seems some good things for COD Black Ops and Far Cry 3 http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/results/53767

I'm waiting like an absolute fool for it to be released on Steam...same with AC3.

It was smoother at 20fps than it is at 35fps.

I am somewhat disappointed to say the least as I was hoping this would be sorted driver wise :mad:

Been told the same about AC3 funnily enough...

I'm not sure what the AMD drivers are like for this game? My German mate reckons he's getting a solid 50fps with his old 5850 (he's prone to over exaggerating tbh) Looking at benchmarks using a 7970 you'd be lucky to get that much.

He's probably on low presets though

Mine is Ultra with 4XMSAA and it is just a stuttering mess. If anyone wishes to quote me on this at a later stage, feel free. I am not a happy bunny, as I resisted playing this in the hope new drivers would give more fps (which technically they have) and give the same smooth gameplay I am used too

Its triple monitor you are trying to play on though Greg. The game is pretty stunning and obviously hard on the gpu. Lower your settings and get playing as i feel no amount of driver updates is gonna give the performance you need to run it in full ultra 4xaa at your resolution. I had a go last night on my mates rig and we were playing with mostly full ultra settings and 2xaa @1080p and it looked the business.

Agreed but tell me why it was smoother and quite playable on the 20fps and yet on 35fps, it is a stuttering mess? I would have imagined that 35fps whilst not being ideal, it would still be smoother than 20fps?

I have no idea on that front. At a guess you are probably getting almost 20fps constant, so probably feels more consistent, while on the new drivers your fps maybe more variable giving bigger drops giving it a more jumpy feel.

lol all those times I never did see the stutter bug that was supposed to plague everyone, this time I am seeing the stutter bug grrrrr

I turned settings to low and getting 80-90fps but stuttering.
