New Nvidia Drivers Soon????

Theres a new set in testing atm, should be out soon (I think monday has been mentioned in another thread here). Not really been a need for a new set yet 258.96 work fine for everything for me.

You say that like it's a bad thing? for the past year I've been installing ATI on average about twice a month and I don't recall ever being happy with a set, normally it's just install them and then wait for the next in hope.

What's the actual problem you're having?

It's so tiresome watching people pretend nVidia cards don't have problems when you see threads like this. (not directed at you Richard, you just want to play your game problem free which is all anyone wants).
 
Not really read up on the BC2 issue but can it be resolved by changing the CPU thread affinity on the process?

AFAIK BC2 fix drivers should be out on Monday (ish).

Really weird that you only complain about ATi drivers since getting a GTX480, really weird...

No but seriously, they are like less than 10% of current DX11 gen cards, I wouldn't say Nv DX11 cards are a drop in the ocean, but it's certainly a very small market-share, so there should be allot less reports of problems, at least from a statistical standpoint.

I know its in jest :P but thats very flawed... you need to add in atikmdag as well and take into account historical market share :P and then its just about even... then you have to remember that those errors are rarely actually GPU related but usually the first point of failure in an unstable system :P (The GPU being one of the most intensive realtime sub-systems).

I know, but you know I am only joking, as I'm of the firm belief that they're just as bad as eachother. I chose the "AMD" one because it's fairly new :p
