**NEW NZXT KRAKEN All IN ONE COOLERS**

The cam software is required to operate the pump at all, that's why it was overheating my chip when it failed to start with windows intermittently, and then wouldn't start at all in the end. I would hope they rebuilt the software from ground up, on the support forums the top rated post by far was to fire the entire team who made the software and start again

Yeah I've considered doing an all ASUS system on my recent upgrade but decided against it simply because their AIO coolers suck. Why do they suck? They have a tiny little fan stuck to the side of the pump that's "supposed to cool down the mobo vrm" - in reality, it makes a heck of a racket and is very difficult to disable the fan without affecting the Pump speed and Radiator FANS

I chucked my x52 and my grid v2 in the bin as the cam software was so terrible i couldn't deal with it anymore. App crashes weird fan curves which made no sense etc. Went back to mobo control with Speedfan and a corsair h100 v2 and its been bulletproof

Nzxt cannot do software sadly
Shame you chucked them, a nice fella made a standalone bit of software for the grid+ V2 which works absolutely flawlessly. Grid control by akej74 for anyone interested.

I used to suffer the random software issues which meant the USB interface was unrecognised disabling the pump/fan profiles. Since the last major software release the issues have stopped so CAM has improved.

X52 & GRID+ v2

you cant go wrong with an air cooler - they last forever.

air cooling is good and they will last longer but the downside is it looks crap having a big chunk of metal in the window of your case (i have dark rock pro 4). been tempted to go back to a aio if am honest just purely for the looks aspect.
