Not quite as much a difference in price as I would have hoped since the 2.5" 120gb could be had on offer at one point for just under £200

It's nice to think it could just go in a standard hot swap in my case now though.

Indeed, I just binned a 100MB hard disk that cost me somewhere around £1000. Adjusting that for 20 years of inflation, 480GB would cost you £19.2 million!
