e : on a slightly more related note, I've been reading a few of the threads in the console forum over the last few weeks after E3 and all the reveals etc of the new consoles. It's like everyone has gone full on stupid. Don't get me wrong - it's incredibly amusing to read - but almost all of the posters may as well just have a huge agenda pinned on their forehead incase anyone wasn't sure about why THEIR console is better than the BAD one.

And these people are apparently adults. Neck-bearded and socially maladjusted adults who need to sperg about a thing they don't know too much about yet but by God, don't you dare suggest they should not pick a side and stick with it because <insert reason why fanboy-ism exists>

I try my best to remain fairly level headed and see things from both sides. I invariably have a favourite console (who doesn't?) but I try to not let that cloud my judgment. I wish other people could do the same!
