New outrage over Jimmy Carr's 'sick' joke

Surely its funny BECAUSE its offensive/shocking.

He does peodo jokes and this is offensive?? A certain Mr Boyle makes a joke about fapping to Sadamm Hussains Execution.

Been to see him 3 times and wet myself at each and every one!

ITS A JOKE!!!
 
We saw Jimmy Carr in Reading last week. This is just one joke amoungest dozens which push the boundries of what is acceptable. Thats his style.

I would have thought people would have been up in arms about his 'whats the difference between football and rape' joke more than this one.
 
This sadly seems to be getting a lot more press than the story a few weeks ago, where the young soldier who lost both legs and an arm in Afganhistan (He was recently featured in the BBC documentary 'Wounded'), was in his wheelchair out shopping with his Mum.

A gang of typical chavvy wasters were hanging around and started making jokes as he went past. Things like:

"Think you lost something mate....."

They are the people who should be the ones getting a slap on the wrist.

OK, does that mean that you are joining me in my outrage or that you are outraged at my outrage? I am not too sure if I should be pleased or further outraged. The Mail didn't prepare me for this sort of comment!
 
Aren't a handful of the soldiers training for the paralympics anyway? I'm sure I've read that somewhere, so it's barely an insult :/
