hi looking to build new pc for some gaming,phone unlocking some music/video streaming not sure what way to go intel or amd.I do not need monitor ,mouse keyboard will be running win7 64bit or if brave enough win7,winxp dual booting not to bothered about overclocking anything. I would like ssd drive,2tb hard drive, 8gig ram,sound card ,case with card reader on front,now i will throw spanner in the works i have 2 msi 280x gaming cards to use so need a good power supply have seen the superflower ones can someone spec this for me

A decent xfire mobo with room for the sound card. The Superflower is more then enough to run both of your 280Xs. I know you said you was'nt bothered with OC'ing, but you can use the auto function when your apps need a bit more processing power.

OCUK tested the 650W with 280X xfire. And to back up their test, they were giving the Psu away for free when you purchased 2 of the Asus Direct CUII in a special deal.

AMD R9 280X Crossfire - On your average system the cards require you to have a 750 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

Where does it say it was a "mining deal"?

The only mention of mining was made by TheReaperGuy, post#16.

Its a 650W Gold rated from superflower, about the equivalent to most 750W PSU's, so it can handle a pair of 280X fine.

And this was posted 2 weeks after Stulid's review.
