Looking to build a PC for a friend. He is keen to move to Linux
Budget: GBP 2000
Requirements: ubuntu / debian
Monitor: 5k
keyboard and mouse: wireless
CPU: AMD
Mobo: with wifi, no advanced features needed apart from onboard GPU able to run the 5k monitor
RAM: 64 GB
SSD: 2 TB
Case, power and cooling: silent as it will be under a desk height-adjustable model, 120x70cm
Cooling: either Noctua or AIO for the CPU.
GPU: not necessary now, can be bought later as he wants to work on AI maybe next year - I am thinking RTX5070 perhaps
