Im looking at a new PC and I dont really keep up to date with all the latest hardware etc.. until this time comes around so im a little out of sorts.

Can anyone spec me a pc for around this sort of price? I don't need a monitor/KB/Mouse/Monitor/Sound card but would need a HDD for OS/Games.

Cheers folks :)

quad core cpu.

sata and usb3.0

and just look at some of the GTX460 reviews to see that its able to match a ATI5850- http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18163136

Not bad not bad! Will have a look at that AMD chip as I said im a bit behind in the times.

I have 2x1tb drives ill be wanting to fit in the case as well if that makes any difference.

+1 for Stulid.
That's the best you're going to get.
I just did an i5 750 budget build and it came to £660, and that was with savings at every turning. If you want a quad core you need to go AMD.

Nice spec for 600, quad core AMD is the best in this price by quite some way. Depending on games / resolution could make further saving on graphics card, but bang fir buck gtx 460 is pretty good, be sure to check out the threads in the graphics card section as quite a lot of discussion about it.
