Hi all hope you're all well.

OK I need a new PC, I want 1TB hard drive and a 126 SSD or 256 SSD, 16GB ram, blu ray drive but not to be able to record onto blue ray, dvd rewrite is enough, ability to run 3 screens at 2560 x 1440 res, card reader and usb 3.0. Also in a nice case not something massive.

Ill be multitasking word, excel, browsing, photoshop, no gaming really at all.

Id like to mimic a dell xps 8500 but with the ability to power 3 x screens.

As a newbie as a build what should I be looking at? And will it be complicated.

Thanks

Your requests seem a little odd.. May i ask a few things?

Why are the screens 1440p? Do they really need to be, for your uses 1080p IPS screen(s) would be ideal.

None of those things seem very demanding, are you doing a lot of image editing or just general use?

Do you have a budget in mind?

Hi just general business use in the office, word, photoshop, excel, multi screen browsing etc. Windows 7, heard too many bad things about windows 8.

I have a dell 27" 2560 x 1440 and a dell 24" 1080 actually, just trying to decide which I prefer. Im finding the text size and general size of the items on the 27" too small so may go back to 3 x dell 24 ips.

photoshop will need quite a chunk in ram. i would suggest you get Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance

I wouldnt get that RAM, its expensive and high profile.. You can get a lot better. 16gb if RAM may be useful for large image editing.

building a pc is easy just take it slow and have a youtube guide or something running whilst you do it.

if you can build lego or ikea furniture then you can build a pc
