New PC for around £800

I am looking to get a new PC manily for gaming and a bit of office work.

My Current Specs are:

I5 650 3.2 Ghz
8GB RAM
750TI 2GB
Samsung Evo 120GB SSD

I only require the base as I have a decent monitor, keyboard and mouse.

I forgot to say that I am keeping my current pc and turning it into a media centre, so need all new base.
I am keeping a old SATA HDD as an extra storage but do want a new SSD for the OS.

My monitor is 1080p, not too bothered about 4k yet. I know my budget is out of that range anyway.

I relised that I have a spare Corsair VS 550W PSU, would that be capable?

Also is the Ryzen 1600 worth the extra over the 1400?

The Corsair VS series are terrible though. They are even lower quality than the CX series.

Sorry for not getting back, been away.

I only now need a Case, CPU, MOBO, RAM and GPU. Same budget.

I have an EVO 840 256GB SSD and the PSU was a CX550 that I have spare.

I mainly play DOTA 2, but really want to try some newer games out.

Only If you already have Gsync monitor, last time I looked the 8GB RX480 was a tiny bit ahead in more games VS the 6GB 1060 than it was behind.
