Hi all,

After 8-9 years my PC is giving up on me. I made some upgrades along the way, but this is what I am going to be departing from:
  • Intel Core i5 2500K Unlocked
  • Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3
  • Crucial Ballistix 16GB Kit Sport XT 8GB x2 DDR3 1600 MHz PC3-12800 Memory
  • ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (6144 MB) (STRIXGTX980TIDC36GD5)
  • 500W Corsair CMPSU-500CXUK Builder
  • 250GB Samsung 840 SSD
  • Antec 100 One Hundred, Black Midi
New PC use case
I am a Sim Racer therefore I would ideally like something that could support the following:
  • Triple monitor setup (144Hz)
  • Low latency
  • Low input lag
  • Capable of streaming but not a necessity
  • Video creation but not a necessity
Budget:
~£1k ideally (PC only)

Beyond Sim Racing I am unlikely to play too many other games, maybe Guild Wars or SWTOR.

Any triple screen monitor recommendations (144Hz) are welcome.

Appreciate the feedback on helping me build a new rig.

Thanks

Hi,

You can reuse your ATX case
  • Antec 100 One Hundred, Black Midi
  • 250GB Samsung 840 SSD
And add the following:
  • 8-core/16-thread Ryzen 7;
  • Radeon RX 5700 XT which on its own it around 60% faster than your GTX 980 Ti
  • 500 GB PCIe3 x4 M.2 SSD
  • super cool new Platinum-certified and with cool discount modular power supply
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,073.04 (includes shipping: £11.10)
