ive been away form the pc games for a while now i would like to know if my pc will be able to run the new games out there like crysis 2,dead space 2 ect if so would they be medium to low ?

It will run those games, but not very well. You shouldnt be expecting much more than low to medium settings i think. Possibly on some less demanding games youll be ok. Maybe time to upgrade? :D
 
Nv 460 or the ATI 6850 then for GPU upgrade on that budget?

I went from a 4850 to a 6870, massive improvement for me.

Would look at trying to OC the CPU a bit if possible as well.

Same as, then a couple of months later dropped a Q6600 and clocked it to 3.2 and can run damn near everything on the highest graphics settings without a hitch.
 
dead space 2 is hardly a demanding game btw just thought i would let you know :)

and btw i get average of 120fps in ds2 maxed out on a 5830 overcloccked to 900 on core and 4400 on memory
