I have an interview tomorrow, and more people are starting to come back to me about job applications, I'm starting to think about what I can spend money on :p

I have been wanting to upgrade for some time now, and hopefully my plans will be reality shortly.

Can someone help spec me some components please :D

Here's what I already have, that I could keep:
- Operating System (Windows 7, x64)
- 1.5TB SATA II HDD for storage
- 650w CoolerMasters PSU (will upgrade if needed)
- Mouse
- Keyboard
- 24" liyama 1080p Monitor (Will upgrade eventually - 2 or 3 new high res / maybe 3D monitors if possible)

What I would like:
- Large case for good watercooling (Shinbo XL looks good!)
- SSD for OS and Programs
- Overclocking - i5 2500K seems to be highly rated...
- Option to go SLi for graphics (I have 460GTX, but will upgrade this)
- As top of the range Motherboard as I would need, without being silly!

I'm totally open to ideas.... I was going for a black/orange colour scheme, so anything that would suit this would be a bonus, but not required!

Budget?... Let's try keep under £1000 (not including watercooling or monitors)

Anything i've missed, please let me know...
Thanks in advance, guys :D

Thanks very much :)

Will the board that has been mentioned support PCI-E 3.0 (does it need to be v1.3?) and will it be compatible with Ivy Bridge once it is released?

Thanks again

So I got me a job now :D

With the new Z77 boards and Ivy Bridge approaching, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a new spec/advice :D

I also just won myself a BitFenix Shinobi XL, fans and cables, so that'll save me a few bob :p

There don't seem to be any orange/black motherboards [Z77] :(

Are you going to be watercooling then?
Could get a larger SSD if you like
This motherboard supports SLI [and your PSU will be fine for 460 SLI]

I'd wait for IB too, see what it brings in terms of price/performance :)

Thanks for that :) I will be watercooling :D

Are these new Z77's much better than the Z68's? I've not read up too much about them...

Thanks again
