Hi All,

all my parts are connected to my new pc. When I flick the switch on back of my psu for power before I switch on the pc the motherboard flashes red then goes off. Is that normal?

has it ever booted?
try removing the gpu and using onboard graphics

if it doesnt boot after that try using just 1 stick of ram

Any WiFi card attached? If so try without

Also try flashing the board to latest BIOS version, pretty sure you can do that with just a USB sick with the BIOS on it

System never run, built it on Friday. Using a superflower 1000kw platinum. I have a card in my current pc not sure if that will be compatible AMD Radeon 6800

Doesn't have to,I think the newer gigabyte boards let you flash just by inserting USB stick, should tell you in the manual

And yh try other GPU aswell

yes the 6800 will work. you could also test you're new card in you're old system.
might even be worth testing you're psu in you're other system.

have double checked all the plugs are in firmly?
