Good news! It is working with the new motherboard!

I've never been so happy to see that "No keyboard detected. Press F1 to enter setup" error before!

So it turns out I have been extremely unlucky to have not one, but TWO faulty motherboards in a row.

Thanks everyone for your help! I can finally build my PC after 2 weeks of nightmares.
