New PC, Not Working

Spec in Sig.... put it all toghether fired it up and my LCD aint getting a signal, noticed someone had similar problem in a thread below. tried all suggestions.... any ideas, i heard there were some issues with the Ultra-D

the Hiper 580w should walk it... everything powers up ok... all fans spinning gfx card sounds like a jet. but no signal going to monitor... no onboard gfx btw

have you tried booting in safe mode? this maybe a resolution problem :confused: but iirc it would say "Out of frequency" if it was that.

how do i boot in safe mode when theres no signal (at all) going to the LCD (i just get test colors, which i get when theres nothing plugged into monitor)

EDIT: LCD: Iiyama Prolite 17" (10ms)

1st, you spent £1200 on a Barton 3200 with 6800GT :D


Ok on a serious note:
You have probably tried all this but ... recheck everything is seated correctly, all cables connected, especially those for power to mobo etc. :D

Is the internal speaker plugged in and are you getting any beeps?

Try with the minimum components (cpu, ram and gfx). Unplug everything not needed.
Try it with the mobo outside the case (it may be shorting).
