New PC, Not Working

i had this problem and i never fixed it, gave up and just sold all the components, i feel for you mate, its so annoying.

you got another hard drive you could try?

yes, no beeps

tried a minimum setup already
not tried an out of case setup. but as theres no cuts in power cant really see it being that

not got a spare HDD, no

If theres no beeps, then it's usually the mobo or cpu. Could be something else but they are the usual causes.

The HDD wouldn't be the problem, the pc would still boot without a hard drive but would come up with a boot error on post.

Once when i had this problem i fixed it by switching HDD's, then it booted, switched them back then it worked, had to do this few times a week then it suddenly stopped

guess it doesnt hurt to check n recheck, turned out power connecter on motherboard wasnt in right
