Hi everyone. Believe it or not Im not a total Noob. I have built many pc's in the past just none with in the last 2 - 3 years. Last PC I built was just before PCI-Express Released.

Im planning to build a new pc and heres the components Im planning to get below. Currently I have a Hard Drive I can use temp but eventually will be upgrading it to SSD + Using XP/ Vista Temp although I have pre-ordered Windows 7. Please Could you Just Take a look at the Components Im planning to use just to check there is no conflicts or Issues with what Im going to use. The components are as follows :

For now I have just picked a mid range Graphics Card but eventually be upgrading to 2 decent SLI cards. Please let me know if theres any other graphics cards which would be better / suitable for time being around that price range.

One thing I was concernded about was the RAM, wants to sure if I had picked the Correct DDR 3 to use with AM3 Chip, Please could you let me know. Aswell I will eventually be upgrading to water cooling.

Thanks in advanced all for helping / replying.

just thinking about it also, I might need to upgrade the power supply as eventually Dual SLI & Water Cooling. Please advice.

That mobo is crossfire capable, but SLI capable. I would suggest you buy a 4890 which is available for the same price or maybe a 4870 with an aftermarket cooler for that price.

You have picked tripple channel memory, ideally you need dual channel DDR3.

You mentioned SLI, bare in mind the board only supports ATI Crossfire if you want to use more than gpu.

Why are you using Tri Channel memory with a board and CPU that only support dual channel? And for the graphics, at that price the 4890 is a much better bet. Power supply, it's okay but i don't really like OCZ much unless the budget is really constricted. I've seen a fair few blow up. Undecided about the Z-Series though.

Or if you can find a 600W+ from SeaSonic that would be great too.

Sounds Good so I need Dual Channel DDR 3 - I will prob go for the one Shawreboy suggested. Dunno Why I put sli I think it was because I was looking at diff board before. Is that the best Mother board or is there a more suitable. The reason I liked the board was because the easy over clock feature with the little switch you turn. Thanks for your help so far everyone

Right So revised spec's look some thing like this :

I haven't really looked to deeply into GFX card just picked half decent ATI Card. Is there any better for around the same price. Or as mentioned before. Is there any other better Motherboards that Support SLI instead of crossfire. Previously had problems years ago with ATI and dont really fancy going down that route again. Any Suggestions. Thanks all.

oh forgot to change the power supply on that spec but will do in final build. Thanks Superewza for the suggestions.
