I was going to say, where's your memory? Then noticed the line above :)

Looks good to me. What OS are you using?

Couple of thoughts, have alook at the new 260-216 gpu's as these I think are quicker than the old 260 gpu's.
CPU coooler seems to be on the exspensive side I would look at the Thermalright or the TT.
Do you already own a hard drive.
If your gameing have a look at the E8XXX range cpu's.

Hello tommyk99, first of all, please remove the picture since it advertises a competitor and there prices which is not allowed on this forum. Please make sure you read the FAQ. :)

For now Win XP sp2 but with the new system would try Vista.
Isnt the xfx black edition with the new gpu?
Well its 28 pounds for cooler i think not bad with his spec. wich cooler u think would be best? Because i would like to overclock.
Yes i got Samsung spinpoint F1 and is 520W OCZ power supp. enough?
thx

Hi tommyk99, sorry to be a pain but I believe you will have to remove the entire picture since it is still advertising a competitors pricing and it is still fairly obvious which competitor it is.

Regarding the specification though which looks fine on the whole. However, I would personally make a few changes.

For example, the CPU cooler that you have chosen I can't say I have heard much about that particular model so I'm not entirely sure how good it will be. If you are looking at spending that much on a CPU cooler then I would suggest having a look at the Thermalright TRUE Black 120 CPU Cooler which is well known for being one of the best air coolers around. Now, it doesn't come with a fan so you will obviously need to buy one separately. One that is highly regarded is the Noctua NF-P12 which is an excellent fan.

The Biostar TPower motherboard you have chosen I'm sure will be absolutely fine. However, if you are looking at spending around £110 for a motherboard, have a look at the Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 which is a superb motherboard. Very reliable board with a very easy to use BIOS.

With regards to which CPU you would be better of with. I would personally keep the Intel Core 2 Quad since it offers remarkable value for money and isn't actually that far behind a higher clocked dual core in terms of gaming performance. Have a look at this thread here which will hopefully help you choose. :)

Just an idea of what you get from OCUK ;)

You shouldn't need the P45 board, the only difference between this and a P43 (shown above) is the ability to crossfire, which since your going with nvidia, you won't need.

Also unless you plan on a pretty big overclock, the 4gb of 6400 ram above would be good enough to overclock the E8400 to 3.6ghz, without even the need for overclocking the ram.

If it's a purely gaming system, then I prefer a faster dual core to a slower quad, but everyone has their views on this.

The tuniq tower is still one of the best coolers around, especially for the price. I've got one and it keeps my temps constantly low.
