Hi all

I’ve today tried to build a system for my grandad. The system starts but, doesn’t not display video.

the board is Asrock B560m Pro with an i3 10105F and corsair vengeance LPX ram.

We also don’t have any warning leds.

any suggestions for next port of call?

GPUs are extremely hard to get at the moment and even second hand GPUs are massively overpriced.

You will be better of getting the Intel CPU with igpu, i think they are the G varients but check properly before you buy the wrong part again.

Yep thats the one you want. It is a real pain and I bet a lot of people get it wrong when ordering. You will be well shot of that FX trash , I have a rusty abacus that outperforms that range of cpus.

Intels website is useless for info and is just trying to feed marketing BS and sell stuff so I always look on wiki if I have time or need to check.

Amd cpu with intergrated graphics are g varients.

Intel always come with intergrated graphics unless its a F Varient.
