new Pc won't power up ?

*Using moble: but Ryzen 2700x doesn't have integrated graphics - only use the 570 for testing.

Also, have you tried a different output lead from the GPU?

Have you got the monitor set to the right output?

EDIT: check that the motherboard is securely fitted - any movement?

Next step will be unplugging all none essential devices...

But, was it pre-built(?) - check you're not voiding any warranties or simply return.

Thanks for the reply

Just tried another output lead still the same, Yes monitor is on right output as i use it on my system hdmi

Motherboard has no movement at all

unplugging all none essential devices such as ?

I built it myself.

Thanks

Disconnect all drive leads from the motherboard, all front panel connectors, and all other additional USB, sound connections that you don't need.

Then power on the PC by shorting/briefly touching the 2 power pins with a screwdriver (pwr or pwrbtn) (google) - or use the on board motherboard button if it has one.

Just tried it and still the same * bangs head against desk *

Something is wrong be it ram on motherboard ?

Think I'm going to have to take a drive to stoke later in the week and get it sorted .

Do you have a PC with DDR4 memory?

If you have - reset CMOS again and try again with one of your sticks.

And I can't stress enough that you double check all PSU connections to the motherboard - really make sure that they're all securely in place, give them a form press or ideally reseat (so many times this can be the issue - do this first)

Yeah got 128gig DDR4 in my system which is on most of the time with virtual machines etc .

Far as i can see all cables are in place and pushed in fine I've total re stripped the system out and out it back together .

I'm using 8 pin for the 12 V there is a 4 pin connector too

Thanks again for all your time

Damn, i was hoping you would have smaller sticks.

I'm guessing you know what the next logical step is...

...build outside the box to eliminate shorting. :/

You could test PSU with a voltage meter - but this obviously this wont eliminate load issues.

The main sticking point is that it was working until after transit - so perhaps something moved/got dislodged...

Right stripped it all down again , to nothing re applied thermal paste everything seated everything back same wires etc and its now working ?

Not a clue !

Been powering it on and off during the day and it's been fine .

Thank you for your time and effort on this much appreciated .

No worries, glad we're making progress.

Few question, to clarify things, so i'm up to speed:
  1. Did you remove motherboard when you stripped it down?
  2. Is motherboard back in if it was removed?
  3. Are 'all' components added now - and you're saying it's running stable?
  4. Did you use all the same cables - and if you did do you know if you applied them to same drives?

Yes i removed everything from the case motherboard included , removed heatsink and cpu .

Put everything back in the case using same cables.

Only got 1 x M2 drive no other SSd drives and a power cable to the Graphics card.

Booted up right away and has been running for a hours fine now ?

Have no idea what so ever but it's working lol !

And if it carries on working - who gives a... :)

Great - it's a PITA but the 'scattergun' test approach was the obvious next step - hopefully it will continue to pay off.

Something must have been shorting on the case or perhaps a cable/component wasn't making a full contact with the original motherboard placement (slight bowing). A similar bowing conclusion could be considered for the CPU mount/cooler - but would be unusual for a stock cooler.

I would use and abuse as if your own for a few days - the one test i would consider running is, memtest86 for a few hours or memtest HCI (400%).
