New pc

With 2GB of memory - looks the business.

GFx and RAM are your main constraints, and you'll be addressing both of those.

GFx is great - only thing better would be to hit x1900, and 2GB of memory will handle requirements just fine.

May as well have the 3800 as the 4200. They usually clock past 4200 speeds anyways.

Best option is 4400 if you got the readies.

And you want a 512 GFx if you can manage it.

Otherwise looks good.

M

Well i was coming down in price to get it faster :) i can get these parts as follows:

Antec P180 Advanced Super Midi Tower
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+
DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR EXPERT
Mushkin 2GB DDR HP3200 High Performance Dual Channel Kit (2x1GB)
Western Digital Raptor 36.7GB WD360GD 10,000RPM
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music
Western Digital Secure Connect Serial ATA Cable

But if i get them i would have to wait another month to get a gfx card:
XFX GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB XXX is what i realy want :)

But i maye change for a bigger hard drive

IMHO, you dont need:

The Raptor - load times aren't the be all and end all, get a 7200rpm drive.

X-Fi - that can wait - use onboard sound, you'll probably find its perfectly good enough.

And now i come to think of it, since you state you dont want to overclock, that mobo is complete overkill - just get a £50 one.

That should go a good way towards your GFx.

i dont wanna overclock like you say but i read a review that says that mother board is realy good and after i get my gfx card i wanna save for another to have 2 in there :)

oh and whats a good hard drive other than raptor then ?

Case: Coolermaster Wave Master

Well IMO the Akasa Eclipse 62 and the Lian-Li PC7 are better cases for your money, still a good case though.

Cpu: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+

Good CPU

Mother Board: DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR EXPERT

Waste of money unless thinking about SLI'ing which IMO is a complete waste of money anyway. I would look at the DFI nForce4 Ultra-D instead, does everything the expert board does with 1 less PCI-E x 16 slot and a much lower price tag!

Gfx Card: XFX GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB GDDR3

Why....The X1900XT is a faster and better performing card for less money!

Memory: OCZ 1GB (2 x 512MB) PC3200 Dual Channel Gold

Good Memory, but 2GB is definitely considered the standard these days...Some games like BF2 like to have use of it. For value for money I would look at the OCZ PC3200 Platinum or the Mushkin HP3200 Blue

Hard Disk: Western Digital Raptor 36.7GB WD360GD 10,000RPM

Raptors are way overrated and overpriced, you can buy 2 sata2 HDD's and run them in raid0 which is faster and cheaper than a raptor!

Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS Edition

Not a bad soundcard but just consider that the onboard sound is usually good enough and money may be better spent elsewhere.

PSU

For the PSU I would look at the Enermax Liberty or the Tagan Easicon ranges. 400W minimum for a current system running a single gfx card but I would reccomend 500W if within your budget. Avoid the cheapy ones like Q-Tec.

Agree keep the X2 4400+, SLI mobo if you may go SLI ever (but unless you have a large LCD i recommend against it) & the OCZ ram.
I really would recommend the X1900XT instead (by the time you want to get a 2nd card you may as well get better single DX10 card; always better to get a faster single card).
As for HDD get Western Digital Raptor 150GB WD1500ADFD 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache.
Soundcard can do without if money is tight - use onboard as said allready.
