Looks ok to me . To me, the 470s are still expensive for what they are.

And only 500gb?? For a few pounds more you can have 1TB.

There's two 500GB Hard drives.

But again, it's much more worthwhile getting a single 1TB for the price, if you want to partition it you can, this will essentially give you two different parts of the hard drive, and be like two 500GB hard drives.

That bundle is pretty pricey for an i5 dual-core compared to the i5 quad-core bundle Redmint linked to. But both bundles skimp a little and include a mobo that can't x-fire/sli. This example spec below, for the same price, includes i5 quad-core, x-fire/sli mobo, modular PSU, and a decent SSD. Kept your choice of case and peripherals as they are a very personal choice...

MSI GeForce GTX 470 1280MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with MAFIA 2 £229.11
BenQ G2420HDBL 24" Widescreen LED Monitor - Black £164.49
Intel Core i5 760 2.80GHz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail £158.99
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4 Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard £149.99
Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (CTFDDAC064MAG-1G1) £111.99
Fractal Design Define R3 Midi Tower Case - Black Pearl £89.99
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply £76.36
Patriot Viper 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (PVS34G1600LLK) £70.49

If you want to spend that extra £100 you could consider more GPU, moving to i7 (more for e-peen than any gaming performance gain:)), bigger SSD, bluray etc etc, or keep it in your pocket.

Only downside is you have to OC yourself - but never mind it's easy and you'll get all the help you need right here!

Thanks for the replies, I had no idea that i5 was just a dual core. Also I like buying it already overclocked as I've always had serious problems overclocking in the past and feel it is worth the extra cash to have it done and also I'm covered under a 12 month warranty.
running SLI, Xfire doesn't make any bones to me I've always been 1 graphics card person.
Whilst i like the idea of having a Solid State Drive, they seem overly expensive for the size currently. 64 gig wouldn't be enough really would it? thats like an OS and a could have games, I do music production quite a bit which would eat it all up.
Excuse my ignorance but what is a modular PSU and how is it different from a normal psu?

Cheers

OK if you dont care about future x-fire/sli, you could just take out the individual components and put the i5 760 (which is a quad core by the way) bundle back in and save £15. Does certainly save you the hassle.

An SSD makes a phenominal difference to your OS load times and that of whatever you put on it. 64GB is plenty for OS and several games. Note that I also have a 500GB HDD in there for storage (nobody would spec an SSD and include no HDD). That £15 saving on the bundle could increase that to a 1TB HDD.

A modular PSU has detachable cables so you can remove the ones you dont need and keep a tidier case. A nice-to-have that you can afford so I stuck it in there.

Thanks dude, Ive ammended as per follows: I've pretty much followed your advice the only thing I thought I should add was a better GFX card so went for a GTX 480:

Awesome what a beast! I quite like your style in case/peripherals too.

Ooh I quite like that XFX PSU - tempted myself.

Shame about the monitor - it seems to be quite a hit on here so when it's on special offer maybe not surprising it sells out. If you have anything that can tide you over a week or so it could be worth waiting for judging by the reviews. Alternatively I doubt you can go wrong with this one...

...for a fiver more. Old and reputable monitor brand and very similar spec to the BenQ.
